Bingham Farms, MI – April 23, 2024 – Sunvera Group (“Sunvera”), a leading management services organization providing support services to ophthalmology practices across multiple subspecialties, is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Ferkovic as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Ferkovic, who previously served as Vice President of Business Development, will now assume dual responsibilities, continuing to spearhead business expansion efforts while also overseeing the financial operations of the company.

ial due diligence to drive Sunvera’s growth trajectory. His leadership will be instrumental in guiding the company’s financial strategy, supporting its network of ophthalmology practices and surgical centers, and facilitating strategic partnerships.
Since joining Sunvera in 2021, Ferkovic has played a pivotal role in expanding its partner portfolio and strengthening Sunvera’s presence in key markets within the Great Lakes region.

Ferkovic brings a wealth of expertise to his new role, having previously served as Director of Transaction Advisory Services at BDO USA, LLP, where he specialized in buy- and sell-side financial due diligence for both public and privately held companies. His background also includes managerial roles at SS&G Parkland Consulting LLC, where he provided turnaround and strategy consulting services.
A graduate of the University of Notre Dame du Lac, Ferkovic holds both a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Accountancy.
